Job Description
- Industrial Relations (IR): Manage labor unions, handle grievances, negotiate wage settlements, and maintain a harmonious work environment to ensure zero disruption to operations.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws (Factory Act, PF, ESIC, CLRA), local, state, and central regulations, and promote a strict safety culture.
- Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development for both staff and technical shop-floor workers.
- Performance & Compensation: Implement performance management systems (PMS) and oversee payroll, incentives, and benefits administration.
- HR Strategy: Develop HR policies, budgets, and HRIS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP) in alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
- Experience: 10-20+ years in HR leadership within heavy industries (Steel, Metals, Mining).
- Competencies: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, leadership, and knowledge of state-specific labour laws.
